ADEPT's Dana Pollitt will continue to serve the Fort Lauderdale Community as a Member of the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport Advisory Board.
On May 1st District 1 City Commissioner Heather Moraitis and the City of Fort Lauderdale Commission elected to reappoint Dana Pollitt to the City of Fort Lauderdale's Aviation Advisory Board. Pollitt will be serving his fifth term of a possible six year term.
The Aviation Advisory Board has the power and duty to recommend to the city commission action necessary for the planning, establishment, development, construction, enlargement, improvement, maintenance, operation, regulation, protection and policing of airports owned, operated, and controlled by the city.
Pollitt, an advocate for Broward County, our transportation industry and Florida Airports Industry for years is natural fit for the Aviation Advisory Board. Pollitt has more than 20 years of experience working at small, mid and large hubs as well as general aviation airports across the country.
Prior to co-founding ADEPT, he served as the Florida Airport/Seaport sector leader for a large focused supplier of high-value consultancy, engineering and project management services. In this role his responsibilities included overseeing the coordination and communication with all ninety-five Florida Airports. He has coordinated, acted as a stakeholder liaison and maintained relationships with Airport Directors, Planners, Engineering and Construction Leadership and Airport tenants. During his role he focused on delivering designs and maintaining strategic and complex assets for his customers.
FXE is located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale Uptown Business District. Pollitt has been a longtime advocate for the Uptown area. He, along with several other business leaders founded Envision Uptown, Inc. a non-profit with the intent is to establish the Uptown Urban Village and a planning framework to guide future growth in Fort Lauderdale’s Uptown area by amending the current land use designations to a single land use designation that supports a mix of uses and multi-modal development.
In the past Mr. Pollitt has served as a member of the Florida Airports Council and has proven himself in the realm of strategic consulting, coalition and consensus building, government liaison/relations, stakeholder coordination and strategic partnering.
